AD-HOC RELIEF ALLOWANCE-2023 Notification Federal Government

AD-HOC RELIEF ALLOWANCE-2023 NOTIFICATION  FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN 

EMPLOYEES OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WILL GET ADHOC RELIEF ALLOWANCE 2023 AS PER THEIR RUNNING BASIC ON 30 June 2023. The notification claims. 

As per notification of AD-HOC RELIEF ALLOWANCE-2023 , the president of Pakistan is pleased to approve the salary Increment 2023 as announced by the federal government in Finance bill 2023 presented by Finance minister Ishaq Dar. 

The bill comes into force by 1

st July 2023.

The President has been pleased to sanction with effect from 1st July, 2023 and till further orders, an Ad-hoc Relief Allowance-2023 to all the Federal Government Employees i.e. Armed Forces Personnel, Civil Armed Forces and Civil Employees of the Federal Government as well as the civilians paid from Defence Estimates including contingent paid staff and contract employees employed against civil posts in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment. 

The rate of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2023 is as under:

BPS-1 to 16  @35% of Basic Pay as on 30-06-2023

BPS-17 to 22  @30% of Basic Pay as on 30-06-2023

This increase in the salary is subject to income tax.

There are rumors that the  notification AD-HOC RELIEF ALLOWANCE-2023 Punjab Government claims to be increase on the initial basic salary of the scale in which they are serving which 8s not beneficial for the employees who's length 9f service is longer than 5 years.
