Punjab Budget Salary Increase 2023-2024
Today on 19th June 2023 the care taker government of Punjab and Punjab cabinet led by chief Minister Mr. Mohsin Naqvi gave approval of the Punjab Budget 2023-2024 for 4 months only.
The Cabinet meeting was held at Punjab Civil Secretariat at 12 PM.
Finance Secretary presented the budget before the Cabinet including Chief Secretary, Finance Secretary. Advisors , Minister, IG Punjab Police, Chairman Planning Commission.
Silent Feature of Budget of Punjab 2023 are as follows:
Grade 17 and above Salary Increase by 30%
Grade 1 - to Grade 16 Salary Increase by 30%
Pension increase by 5 % upto 79 years
Pension increase by 20 % Above 80 years
30% increase in government employees' salaries and 5% increase in pension, while 20% increase in pension of pensioners above 80 years of age.
In ongoing expenditure, 721 billion rupees have been allocated for 4 months, 116 billion rupees for pension, 325 billion rupees for development projects, 277 billion rupees for capital expenditure and 395 billion rupees for account food.
