Pakistan Finally Re-joins FATF White list

 An international organization that monitors money laundering and terrorist financing, Financial Action Task Force (FATF), removed Pakistan from the gray list. 

The proceeding of the Financial Action Task Force held in Singapore under the chairmanship of T. Rajakumar. FATF president appreciated Pakistan which was in the gray list since 2018, the relevant authorities have implemented all 34 points on which he welcome Pakistan for this progress. 

However it will be the monitored by FATF because Pakistan has to further implement the Anti-Money Laundering and Terror Financing Law. 

 T Rajakumar l,  FATF Presidentsaid that Russia's FATF membership has been suspended due to the Ukraine war, and Congo, Mozambique and Tanzania are being added to the gray list.

 In the meeting, Pakistan's reports on the implementation of the action plan and the report of the FATF team's visit to Pakistan were discussed in detail. 

Because of all the efforts, amended the laws and implemented these laws in the fight against money laundering.

Getting rid of the gray list will have ramifications for Pakistan's economy, politics.

Congratulations to the nation for preserving the reputation and dignity of Pakistan at the international level.
