UHS Undergraduate admissions 2024

 The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission to the following undergraduate programs, Session 2023-24, to be offered at the UHS Jinnah Campus, Kala Shah Kaku

1. B.S. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
2. B.S. Speech and Language Pathology (SLP)
3. B.S. Occupational Therapy O.T

UHS is offering undergraduate programs in semester based curriculum comprising  8 semesters /04 years.

Eligibility criteria for the undergraduate program:

Candidate has passed HSSC (Pre-Medical) or equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks.

Candidate has passed UHS Undergraduate Admission Test (UGAT)-2023 with minimum 50% marks. 

HOW TO APPLY FOR BS MLT, BS SLP, BS OT at UHS: 

Step 1: Go to the online application portal: http://forms.uhs.edu.pk/ugpadd 

Step 2: Check your eligibility (If you have 60% or above marks in HSSC/equivalent exam, you can proceed with your application otherwise not). 

Step 3: Fill in the application form with required information (personal details, qualifications, etc.). 

Step 4: On initial submission, a password will be generated and it will sent to your e-mail address. You can now Log-in with the help of this password. 

Step 5: Determine the Order of Preference for the programs as per your choice.

Step 6: Before final submission of your application, create a challan of an application processing fee of Rs.3500/ (Non-refundable) per program. You can submit the fee through this challan at the nearest branch of the Bank of Punjab (BOP) before the deadline of application submission. Paid challan slip must be uploaded on the online application portal.

Step 7: Upload the required document (Max.Size: 1 Mb/each document) as mentioned on the application portal. 

Step 8: Verify the filled information and attachments. 

Step 9: Make the final submission of your application form. After final submission, a confirmation notification will be shown on your screen.

Please note that the application shall not be editable after final submission. 

FORMAT OF UHS-UGAT-2023: 

UHS Undergraduate Admission Test (UGAT)-2023 shall consist of a single paper consisting of 100 MCQs, divided into the following four sections: English-25 MCQs, Biology-25 MCQs, Chemistry- 25 MCQs, and Physics- 25 MCQs Time allowed for the test is two hours. The test shall start at 10:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, 15th February, 2024.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

 1. Candidates who have qualified / passed the UGAT-2023 held on 7th January, 2024, are not required to apply again. 

2. Incomplete applications or those submitted in violation of the prescribed procedure shall be rejected. It shall be the responsibility of the candidate to submit correct and complete application with all mandatory documents as stipulated on the application form within the assigned timeline. 

3. After submission of online application, the candidate is not required to submit the printout of application at the University.

 4. Admission shall be granted on open merit basis only. 

5. Those having foreign qualifications (A-Level, 12th Grade, etc.) must upload equivalence certificate issued by IBCC. 

6. The syllabi and prescribed fee structure of the programs are available at UHS website: www.uhs.edu.pk. 

UHS advertised the admission for PHARM.D and DPT , MLT and SLP in December 2023 and admission process has been completed merit lists has been displayed can be seen here . but due to less number of applicants who paid the fee the varsity has decided to advertise admissions in selected discipline.
