Admissions in PIMS College of Medical Technology

 Admissions are open in 4 YEARS BS DEGREE PROGRAME IN ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES College of Medical Technology, (CMT) Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad, (PIMS) a Federal Public Sector College, envisions improving the quality of life through Education, innovation and cost effective quality Health Care of national and international level. CMT is seeking applications from highly motivated individuals who are innovative, creative and desirous to excel in their fields.

1. BS Medical Laboratory Technology 
2. BS Medical Imaging Technology
3. BS Optometry Technology
4. BS Anesthesia Technology
5.  BS Dental Technology

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 

1. Minimum 50% (Fifty Percent) Marks in F.Sc Pre-Medical (Pre-M) Group/F.Sc Technology Group (Tech-G) in relevant fields.

 2. Minimum 35% (Thirty Five percent) marks scored in entry test conducted by Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU), Islamabad is mandatory for applying in BS programme in CMT, PIMS.

3. Both Male Female are eligible.

4. Age limit (17-30 years) (Cut off date) 19-December, 2022,

5. Candidates working in any Government Sector must provide NOC from their respective departments.

6. Total 125 seats are allocated for BS Degree Program in five (5) above mentioned different disciplines (25 seats per Discipline) 

7. 20% seats are reserved for F.Sc Technology group.

8. Domicile Certificate of student is mandatory at the time of submission of application "Form" for admission, otherwise application will not be entertained. 

MERIT DETERMINATION:

Weightage formula for admission

SSC/O-Level 10%

HSSC or equivalent 30%

Entrance Test 50%

Interview 10%

HOW TO APPLY:

1. Admission "Forms" and "Prospectus" are available @ of Rs. 1,000/- in the office admin officer of College of Medical Technology

(PIMS), Islamabad.

3. Duly filled "Forms" will be collected at College of Medical Technology (PIMS) upto date 19-12-2022 time till 12:00 O'clock.

DOCUMENT REQUIRED

ii.Two attested copies of Matric Certificates, F.Se (Pre-Medical/ Technology Group) Certificates.

iii. Two attested copies of CNIC issued by NADRA.

iv. Two attested copies of Father/Guardian CNIC.

v. Two attested copies of Character Certificate issued by last attended institute.

vi. Duly attested at back side four recent / fresh passport size photographs with blue back ground.

vii. Affidavit on judicial paper of Rs. 100/- attested by first class magistrate (format given in Prospectus).

viii. Original Domicile of candidate is mandatory. ix. Original migration certificate.

x.Applicants will be selected on their merit/interview/quota policy.

xi. Applicant's credentials will be verified and short listed to call upon interview in CMT, PIMS (date will be announced later on).

If any discrepancy found the admission can be cancelled at any stage of studies.

NOTE:

Late and Incomplete applications/documents will not be entertained Applicants already enrolled in under graduate program are not eligible.

No TA/DA is permissible.

Hostel provision is subject to availability.
